The location is nestled on the edge of the National Park in a quiet area about 5k from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang beach and Klong Muang beach (contender for best beach in Asia). The villas are coveniently located close to all the tourist attractions. All the tour operators will pick up directly from the villas for day tours.
Minutes from 24x7 supermarket, elephant sanctuary and a variety of local cafes and restaurants. Krabi Airport is about 30 minutes travel time. Vehicle rental can be arranged with scooter and car rental companies and local taxi transport.
There are three bedrooms upstairs off a covered balcony with hanging daybed. One bedroom is downstairs with direct access to the patio and pool area.
Each villa has a private courtyard enclosing the pool. A big covered patio area with dining table and outside gas BBQ area is right next to the pool.
All rooms can be opened up completely to fully enjoy inside/outside living.
Two of the villas have a linking door to create the perfect space for large groups up to 16 guests (plus 2 infants).
The living areas are linked so, you have one private area but also have the luxury of two complete villas, one pool for the kids to splash in and another one for the adults to enjoy a quiet relaxing soak, (or the other way around :)

Elephants are just such amazing creatures and we have a local elephant sanctuary just over 1km from the villa. Just take a walk and meet some of these gentle giants.
Tiger Cave Temple is the most spectacular of the Temples in Krabi, there is lots to see at ground level, but if you feel energetic, you can climb the 1237 steps up to the Buddha right on the top of one of the mountains. There you can enjoy the (quite literally) breathtaking view.
Kayaking in the mangrove forests just off the coast is an experience not to be missed. Even on the hottest day, cruising through the maze of channels that wind their way through the jungle is a cooling way to spend some time while getting to see some of Krabi's incredible ecosystem with monkeys, birds and a myriad of other wildlife.
There's also rock climbing, scuba diving, horse riding on the beach, white water rafting, ATV's, cooking courses, hiking and cycling.

Relax - 8 Palm is really peaceful, on the edge of the National Park and palm and rubber plantation, take a breath of clean Krabi air and just listen to the sounds of nature. We can also arrange for a professional masseur to ease away the stresses and strains on a sun bed next to your pool. If you like (or want to try) yoga, we know some great teachers who can run an in-villa yoga session for all abilities.
Eat - Whether looking for a 5 star restaurant, some tasty thai street food, there is a wide choice of each within 15 minutes drive. Just 2 km from the villa is one of best Thai food restaurants in Krabi, plus a tree house cafe for the perfect brunch. We can even arrange for a chef to come and prepare a great Thai dinner for you. Or if you just want to lie on the sunbed, 8 Palm Villa is within the delivery area for Grab Food and Food Panda, so, everything from a burger to sushi (and everything in between) is available
Enjoy - Bustling Aonang is a few minutes drive, there are hundreds or bars, even some right on the beach to enjoy. Some bars have live music to cater for fans of all genres from reggae to jazz.
The climate in Krabi is traditionally split into two seasons; a drier cooler season from November through to about May and then a wetter warmer season from June Through to October. High season for the tourism industry is from November through to March.
Whatever time of year you come, there is always a chance of some rain and, almost everyday, plenty of sunshine. Low season months can be the best time to come, the beaches are empty, and the lush green of the countryside is at its best. Literally around every corner there is a breathtaking view.
